Meet Amy
I’m a people-and-puzzles person. I love understanding how people, systems, and culture interact, then figuring out what needs to shift when good people doing meaningful work feel stuck, exhausted, or pulled in too many directions.
With more than a decade of experience in the nonprofit sector, I’ve spent my career helping organizations turn big ideas and deeply held values into practical, sustainable ways of working. I’m especially energized by the places where people and systems overlap.
I help teams clarify what they are trying to accomplish, identify who needs to be involved, and examine whether their everyday practices actually support their purpose. I look for unclear roles, disconnected processes, gaps in communication, and work that depends too heavily on one person. I also pay close attention to who may be overlooked, undermined, or carrying more than the system was designed to hold.
From there, I help create what the organization needs to move forward. That might mean redesigning a process, developing a program, writing a policy, clarifying roles and expectations, creating shared language, or building a practical tool that makes the work easier to do well.
My goal is not to leave a team with recommendations that sit on a shelf. I want to place something useful in their hands, support them as they put it into practice, and help them develop the confidence and ownership to adapt it long after our work together ends.
At the heart of my work is a simple belief: when people are supported by healthy culture and functional systems, they are better equipped to do the work they care about, and organizations are better positioned to make a meaningful impact.
I’d love to connect to talk about how we might work together!
