FAQ’s:

  • People seek out therapy for a variety of reasons but most have a feeling that “something has to change.” A longing for a shift, relational difficulties, loss, a feeling of a lack of fulfillment in life, or pain that will not subside are just a few examples. Sometimes people begin therapy because something happened that was “too much, too fast” and they don’t know what to do with the life that remains. Other times they enter therapy because someone in their life recommended it. Whatever the reason, named or unnamed, you’re welcome here.

  • Before your first appointment, you’ll get a link to our client portal with a few quick forms. You’ll also receive a link via email if your session is virtual. In our first meeting, we’ll go over confidentiality and practice policies, then spend most of the time getting to know your story and goals for counseling. You’re always welcome to ask questions at any point—we want you to feel comfortable and supported.

  • The cost of therapy varies by service and provider. We offer self pay and limited availability sliding scale based on eligibility and income. Costs of therapy are due at the time of service.

  • Yes! We are in network for Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO insurances. Other health insurances may offer out of network benefits you may be able to use with us.

Just call your insurance provider to inquire. If you do not have insurance, please reach out. We have self pay options that may work for you as well.

  • The duration of therapy treatment is unique to each individual. Some clients come to therapy for a season, others for a session, and many come for a sustained period of time. You and your therapist will work together to determine a plan for achieving the growth you would like.

  • Sessions are most often weekly or biweekly. However, utilizing our Intensives that are 3-4 hours long could create a different cadence to your therapy frequency. You would talk with your therapist at the time of scheduling to make a plan for what is most supportive.

  • If you need to cancel an appointment, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours notice. This allows us to accommodate clients who may be waiting for an available time. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will be charged the full session fee. Your understanding is appreciated, and we are committed to working with you to find a meeting time that works for you.
